Photo Essay: Lake Garda, Italy by Simon Bray
"There is a sense of calm that overwhelms you upon being in such close proximity to a significant mass of peaceful water such as Lake Garda. For me, it’s a sense of awe that supersedes any response I may have to man made marvels, to art or music or architecture, something that aids the sense of one’s place within the grander scheme of things. It was a desire to encapsulate and treasure that calm blue-ness in it’s many undulating forms that prompted these images, taken during a period of seven days, many as part of the ‘Four Lakes Drive’ circling Lake Garda." - Simon Bray
Simon has collated a selection of the images taken around Lake Garda into a publication titled 'Italy'. A5, 24 page, uncoated 120gsm paper. 1st and only print edition of 75. Hand numbered.
The book is available with free UK shipping from: www.simonbrayphotography.bigcartel.com
